We are a husband/wife team, Ritchey and Melissa, and we are located in Edwardsville, Illinois (Metro St Louis). After losing our first Akita, Easton - aka 'Big E', to a life long battle with an auto immune disorder, our love for him and the characteristics of his breed coupled with our desire to find a uniquely patterned Akita with healthy lineage is where our passion for Akitas and our principles of breeding for the health, temperament, and the overall betterment of the breed was born. Our dogs live in our home, alongside of our family, and are frequently socialized to new people, experiences, and situations as part of our every day lives.
