We are a small blue collar kennel that was initially developed by my dad in 1939. I have been raising, training, and hunting gundogs all my life. We are located in the eastern upper peninsula of Michigan in the heart of grouse country. We specialize in controllable foot hunting gundogs and also specialize in beagles. It is our belief any bird dog that can consistently handle ruffed grouse can adapt easily to any other type of bird. We feel the caliber of hunter that continues to purchase our pups confirms this; as well as high caliber of testimonials we have received. We feel by spending three weeks each fall in the Dakota's hunting various types of birds. We are confident that you will be pleased with the dog itself and it's price.
