Down South k9 is a small business ready to make you and your dog's life a much more enjoyable experience. I believe the bond between animal and humans can be strengthened not by force and fear due to harsh corrections, but through trust, patience, earned respect, and consistency. Wanting our 4 legged friends to do a desired behavior or respond to a command without fear, but instead with the eagerness to please their handler. Training should not cause fear, nor should a dog be taught with harsh corrections or threats. Training should inspire confidence and an eagerness to please that is so solid, it strengthens your companionship with your dog. If your dog is not enjoying training, you are doing it wrong!
